As the office manager, Piper is the point-of-contact for BMHS. She handles the day-to-day responsibilities of the office and all incoming inquiries, so that the business side of the practice doesn't interfere with the life-changing therapeutic work.
Piper is presently a Psychology major at Montgomery College, where she is pursuing her goal of becoming a therapist specializing in OCD. Having lived with the disorder for most of her life, she understands the struggles and challenges those with OCD face and is adamant about easing the suffering of others. She is also living with complex PTSD, GAD, depression, ADHD, and autism, and tries to be as open as possible to help end the stigma.
Outside of school, she is a contributing author at The Mighty (where she writes about mental health) and runs an online support group for college students with OCD through the International OCD Foundation. She is also an outspoken supporter of Little Angels Service Dogs, one of the few organizations that provide psychiatric service dogs to civilians.
In her free time, Piper can be found running after her 3 cats and volunteering for Annie's Kindness Blankets.
