Hi there! I'm Piper, and I'm a clinical intern with Northwestern University. My sessions are guided by compassion, warmth and curiosity, and I would be honored to meet you right where you are. We can work towards your goals together while fostering increased confidence and lasting change, whether you're struggling with relationship difficulties, life transitions, or anything in between. I have experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, first responders, young professionals, and those in academia (to name a few) and I'd love to learn from you, too.
While I'm still learning what resonates with me, I'm drawn to a client-centered approach rooted in unconditional positive regard. This means that I work to create a space that is safe, empowering and free from judgement so that you can find the answers you need.
I've experienced mental health challenges since the age of 5 and understand how isolating and frustrating the path can be. Mental wellness is absolutely a personal journey, as unique as you are, and sometimes the answers are hard to find. If we sound like a good fit, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'd love to walk beside you.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading (often with my cat, Phoenix, not far away), writing, and adventuring with my family.
