Personal experience has taught me that sometimes, simply having someone to walk beside us can make a big difference in our well-being. Much like enriched soil helps a flower grow, a supportive therapeutic space can help us develop the tools for personal success. If dry spells happen along the way, we'll weather them together as you watch your seeds of self-doubt grow into colorful blooms of confidence and self-reflection. I'll provide the tools for change, but it's up to you to decide which are best for your garden of possibilities.
Hi there! My name is Piper and I'm a clinical intern with Northwestern University. In every client interaction, I strive to lead with compassion, warmth, and curiosity. Always learning and growing, my goal is the same whether I'm holding space in a therapy session or assisting administratively: to support clients on their journey to personal wellness. In the therapy room, I am privileged to partner with--and learn from--clients from all backgrounds. Whether you want to explore concerns and goals or practice self-care, I'm honored to meet you right where you are.
While I'm new to modalities and am still learning what resonates with me, I'm drawn to a client-centered approach rooted in unconditional positive regard, which means that I work to create an empowering, safe space that is free from judgement. From a personal perspective, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I truly applaud your courage. I've experienced mental health challenges since the age of 5 and understand how isolating and frustrating the journey can be. If we sound like a good fit, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'd love to meet you.
Outside of the office, I enjoy reading (often with my cat, Phoenix, not far away), writing, and adventuring with my family.
