Are you or your child feeling sad, anxious, or angry? Is there stress at home, school, or work? Are you or your child having difficulty in relationships? We can address these topics and more together in a session focused on supporting you or your child in improving overall well-being and goal achievement.
I am currently accepting clients of all ages with a focus on young children and teens, I work to provide an accepting, nonjudgmental space for clients where each individual is valued unconditionally. We can explore together how your past may impact your present, and how to increase mindfulness and calm in your everyday life.
I tailor my approach to each unique client, but generally my counseling approach is psychodynamic. This means that sessions may focus on uncovering unconscious thoughts and feelings, and their impact on you, at your own pace. In this way, I can support you as you grow in self-knowledge, decision-making abilities, and healthy relationships with others. I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques in sessions for symptom management, increased psychological flexibility, and helping clients practice coping skills.
